CORONAVIRUS - HOW YOU ARE KEPT SAFE AT MARSHMALLOWS NAIL & BEAUTY BAR

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Our lovely team will be in touch to help plan your experience with us safe as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any extra questions.

STEP INSIDE

Of course, some things are a little different in the light of Covid-19. We are limiting the number of treatments that can be booked per day. 

Our establishment is private for clients so we can keep you very safe. Upon arrival, guests are invited to use the hand sanitize provided. Please wash/sanitize your hands on arrival. Our team will be ready and wearing all of the appropriate PPE to welcome you, albeit from a distance. Make yourself comfortable while you wait for your treatment in our reception area.
Doors wherever possible are set to open reducing the need for contact on your journey. Please use Hand Sanitizer provided as frequently as possible.
Our changing rooms are available as they are for private use, we do not offer communal changing rooms. Our team will be nipping in and out to sanitize surfaces.
Refreshments at the salon will be limited.

The team have been thoroughly retrained on new Covid-19 procedures.

After booking any appointment you can relax as relaxation is the stepping stone to Tranquillity. We will make your stay with us as safe as possible.

APPOINTMENTS

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your treatment. Late arrival will result in a shortened treatment time, however treatments will still be charged at full price.

If a booked treatment is cancelled without notice or changed on arrival, the full cost of the booked treatment must be paid. In the event that your therapist is not available to carry out your appointment, through circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative therapist if available. In the unusual instance where we may need to cancel your booking, we will endeavor to contact you by telephone and/or email.

PAYMENT

We accept all major credit/debit cards and cash.

CANCELLATION POLICY

To cancel or change an appointment a minimum of 24 hours’ notice and 72 hours for Spa Packages is required or a 50% charge may be applied. Appointments missed will be charged at full price.

Cancellations can be made by contacting us during opening hours on 0848120097. If you are cancelling out of hours you may cancel by email at marshmallows.nbb@gmail.com. We would like to advise you that in booking an appointment, that you are reserving a therapist in advance. Our cancellation policy is designed as part compensation for our highly trained and dedicated therapists, who rely on a busy schedule for a rewarding career.

Clients will be charged for the time reserved regardless for the reasons of cancelling. If we have sufficient notice of cancellation we can open up the appointment to awaiting clients. For cancellation of Wedding Packages, Proms Parties, Spa packages and block appointments we would ask clients to provide the salon with at least 3 days notice of cancellation. The management reserves the right to use their discretion in exceptional circumstances in regard to the above. Where a client requires extensive and lengthy technical services an estimated 50% non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of reserving the appointment.

DEPOSITS

We reserve the right to request a deposit in order to secure an appointment. Any changes to the appointment must be made in accordance to the cancellation policy.

PRICES

All pricing subject to consultation. Our prices are subject to change without notice.

YOUR HEALTH

Clients that may have health issues e.g. blood pressure, circulation problems, skin problems, have recently undergone an operation, are on medication, are pregnant, had a cancer or have any other health worries, are advised to check with their GP before booking a treatment. When you arrive for your first treatment you will be asked to complete a registration document to highlight with the therapist any health issues you may have.

For clients with serious illnesses, before we can proceed with any treatment, we ask you to provide a letter from your doctor to say that you are able to receive the specific treatment you want to have at Marshmallows Nail and Beauty Bar.

PRODUCTS

If you wish to purchase any of the products please discuss this with, and direct your queries to the therapist. They will also provide on how to use the product(s). We recommend that if you have any queries please call us and we will be happy to discuss them or go over the procedure again.

ALLERGY TESTING

If you have any allergies prior to your appointment please inform us at the time of booking.

GIFT CARDS / VOUCHERS

Our Gift Cards / Vouchers are available for all treatments and products, are non-refundable and must be produced at the time of use. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Marshmallows Nail and Beauty Bar cannot accept liability for lost gift cards. Please note Gift Vouchers cannot be used for treatments with our Registered Practitioners.

GIFTS TO STAFF FROM CLIENTS

Whilst appreciative of the gesture, staff are unable to accept gifts from clients and are required to refuse any such gifts. A cash thank you following a treatment is between the client and the member of staff.

OFFERS

Offers on the website,Instagram and our Facebook page are for a definitive period ONLY. Once the offer period has ended the treatment reverts to its normal price.

ONLINE BOOKING

When booking online you will be charged a small online booking fee. This is to keep your card details secured by the third company. This fee is therefore not deducted from the appointment cost.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

Marshmallows Nail and Beauty Bar endeavors to treat all its clients appropriately and fairly. If however you are unhappy with a treatment or service you are entitled to lodge a complaint. In the first instance if you have a grievance you must let the Day Supervisor or Therapist be aware of your complaint so that they can deal with it appropriately on the day. If you do not make us aware on the day of the complaint you may be required to attend additional appointment to resolve the issue up to 10 days or provide evidence. As we may need to speak with a therapist regarding a complaint we aim to resolve all complaints within 5 working days not including weekends. We will not refund payments for treatments without following our complaints procedure. We require notice of a complaint with pictures via email within 24 hours of your visit/treatment. The final decision on any refund will be with the consent of The General Manager/Director.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Products must be returned unused, unopened with their seal intact and in the same condition as they were originally purchased from Marshmallows Nail and Beauty Bar. We will not accept for exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was purchased from us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
